Stanislav Tolkachev produces techno that wears its Detroit influence proudly on its sleeve but there's an angularity to the tracks on "Walk Along The Bottom" that gives the EP a distinctly European flavour too. Abstract, hard-hitting and, in the case of ambient excursion "In The Rays Of The Artificial Sun", more than a little strange too, this is techno of distinction.
